TTD JEO Inspects Papavinasanam























Tirumala, 8 May 19: The Pilgrim Welfare Facilitation Service, (PWFS) aims at bettering the services being offered to pilgrims in Tirumala by TTD, said Tirumala Incharge JEO Sri B Lakshmikantham.

The JEO who inspected VQC compartments on Wednesday interacted with pilgrims as well with Srivari Sevakulu who is rendering the services in VQC 2. Later he also inspected the functioning of parakamani and observed the mechanism of folding roof in Srivari temple.

After the inspection speaking to media persons outside Tirumala temple, the JEO said, the Pilgrim Welfare Service is yielding satisfactory results. The services by volunteers in Help Desks, Milk Distribution, PWFS is incredible. We want to strengthen it further for better results", he added.

Speaking about Parakamani, the JEO said under the instructions of TTD EO Sri Anil Kumar Singhal we have deployed required number of staff to carryout the backlog works. We have also selected able bodied muzdoors who got retired from service to collect and carry the coin currency bags and ensure that there is no pending in counting and accounting process.

The JEO said, the retractable roof functioning is also been observe today. I have directed the concerned officials to complete the work on all sides providing shelter to pilgrims during inclement weather conditions, the JEO observed.

JEO INSPECTS PAPAVINASANAM

Earlier JEO inspected Papavinasanam dam along with SE 2 Sri Ramachandra Reddy. 

Speaking about the water levels, the JEO said, the water level in the dam is 36mcft as against its capacity of 90mcft. The daily consumption of water in Tirumala is 38lakh gallons. We are searching for ways on how best we can utilise the water, he maintained.

DyEO Temple Sri Harindranath, Parakamani DyEO Sri Damodar, EE 1 Sri.Subramanyam, Additional HO Dr Sunil Kumar and other officers were also present.
