TTD JEO Reviews on Jayanthi Fetes of Saintly Devotees

Tirupati, 6 May 19: Tirupati JEO Sri B Lakshmikantham om Monday evening held a meeting with concerned officials on Jayanthi festivals of various versatile personalities who were ardent devotees of Lord Venkateswara.

The meeting was held in the chambers of JEO. He said TTD is making elaborate arrangements for all the Jayanthi Mahotsavams which have been lines up this month including Annamacharya, Vengamamba, Tyagaraya utsavam.

The JEO said the 252nd Birth Anniversary of Sangeetha Pitamaha Sri Tyagaraja Swamy will be observed in a grand manner at Tirumala, Tirupati and in Kakarla on May 10 while the 289th Jayanthi of Vengamamba on May 17 at Tirupati, Tirumala and at Tarigonda in a big way. 

JEO also said, the arrangements are underway by Annamacharya Project to celebrate the 611th Birth Anniversary fete of Saint poet Annamacharya from May 18 to 24 at Tirupati, Tirumala and Tallapaka in a ceremonious way, he added.

All projects officers were also present.
