Acharya Ritwik Varanam Performed









Srinivasa Mangapuram, 8 Jun. 19: The Agama ritual, Acharya Ritwik Varanam was performed with celestial fervour in Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy temple at Srinivasa Mangapuram on Saturday followed by Ankuraropanam in the night as a part of the Astabandhana Balalaya Maha Samprokshanam scheduled from June 9 to 13. 

TTD Executive Officer Sri Anil Kumar Singhal who took part in this sacred fete said that the Balalayam event will be performed once in 12 years and TTD is been conducting this religious event in all its prime temples.

As a part of the highly traditional Agama event, the Kalakarshana event will be performed on the night of June 9 wherein the power in the presiding deity will be transferred into a holy pot through the way of Agama rituals. On June 12, Maha Shanti Tirumanjanam will be performed to Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy and the power will be retransmitted into the Mula Virat.
On June 13 morning Maha purnahuti and Maha Samprokshanam will be conducted and later on darshan will be provided for devotees. 

About  25 Homa Gundas are installed and 41 Ritwiks from AP, Telangana, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu are participating in this sacred event.

DyEO Sri Dhananjeyulu, Srivari temple Chief priest Sri Venugopal Dikshitulu,Vaikhanasa Agama advisers Sri  Sundara Vadanacharyulu, Sri Mohana Rangacharyulu, Sri Ananta Sayana Dikshitulu, temple DyEO Sri Dhananjayulu, AEO Sri Lakmaiah, temple priest Sri Balaji Rangacharyulu ,Superintendent Sri Chengalrayulu and others were also present.
