Kanchipuram 26 July 2019 ; TTD EO Sri Anil Kumar Singhal along with Tirumala Special Officer Sri AV Dharma Reddy donated pattu vastrams on behalf of TTD to Sri Atti Varadar of Kanchipuram in Tamilnadu on Friday evening.
Speaking on this occasion, the EO said, it has been a great privilege for him to witness the Attivaradar which happens once in four decades. Last time in 1979, this unique event happened during the time of late Sri PVRK Prasad, who was the then EO of TTD. Now with the benign blessings of Lord Venkateswara, I happened to visit this great historical, ancient temple now", he added.
The EO also complimented the pilgrim crowd management by the district and temple authorities. "The devotees are immensely satisfied with the very darshan of Sri Atti Varadar and the arrangements", he observed.
