Periyalwar Sattumore Held

Tirupati, 11 Jul. 19: One among the 12 Alwars,  the ardent saint devotees of Sri Vaishnavaism, Sri Periyalwar Sattumora was held in Sri Govindaraja Swamy temple on Thursday.

In the morning snapana tirumanjanam was held to deities of Sri Govindaraja Swamy,  Sridevi and Bhudevi along with Periyalwar utsava murthies from the holy waters brought from Narasimha Theertham.

In the evening when Sri Govindaraja was taken on a celestial ride on Garuda Vahana while Periyalwar on Gaja Vahanam.

EO Sri Anil Kumar Singhal took part in the Garuda seva.  Later he inspected the development works in the temple along with CE Sri Chandra Sekhar Reddy, FACAO Sri Balaji and other officials.
