Pushpa Yagam Perforemed in Sri Govindaraja Swamy Vari Temple

Tirupati, 8 July 2019: The processional deities of Sri Govindaraja Swamy accompanied by Sridevi and Bhudevi were offered special floral bath - Pushpa yagam on Monday in the famous temple of Sri Govinda Raja Swamy located in Tirupati.

Earlier during the day, Snapana Tirumanjanam was rendered to the deities. Later in the afternoon from 1pm onwards, Pushpa Yagam commenced on a grand religious note. As a part of this special fete, the deities were seated on a special platform and floral tributes were rendered with tonnes of varieties of flowers, sacred leaves consisting both traditional and ornamental.

The entire fete was a cynosure to the devotees who thronged to catch up the significant charm of the deities in this unique festival. 

TTD EO Sri Anil Kumar Singhal, CVSO Sri Gopinath Jatti, Special Grade DyEO Smt Varalakshmi and others took part in this fete.
