Tirupati, 30 Aug. 19: TTD organized a holy event of Laksha Kumkumarchana of Goddess Kamakshi ammavaru at TTD local temple of Sri Kapileswara temple on Friday morning.
A special attraction of the event was bangle decoration of goddess Kamakshi and Kumkumarchana along with Sri Mahalakshmi and Sri Saraswati.
The unique ritual was performed in three phases -morning, afternoon and evening
Interested devotees who participated with ₹200 ticket were presented one Laddu and kumkuma prasadam.
Later in the evening utsava idol of Kamakshi ammavaru along with Sri Kapileswara Swami was paraded on the streets of the temple town.
TTD local temples DyEO Sri Subramanyam, Superintendent Sri Bhupathi and other officials participated.
