Purusaivari Tototsavam Observed

Tirumala 3,August 2019: The festival of Sri Andal Thiruvadipuram Sattumora was grandly performed at  Srivari temple on Saturday which is also known as Purusaivari Tototsavam.

Legends say that  on the Purva  Phalguni star on Ashada  Shukla Chaturthi day is usually considered as birthday of Sri Andal(Godadevi). On this occasion, Thiruvadipuram Sattumora festival was conducted with religious fervour on Saturday.

The procession of Sri Malayappaswamy and his consorts visit Purusaivari thota and after that Harati , puja were rendered to Pogada tree. Later the deities retuned to temple.

Temple pesikar Sri Lokanadham and temple staff were present.
