Union Minister Offers Prayers to Lord Balaji

Tirumala, 18 Aug. 19: Union Minister for Law and Justice, Communications and Electronics and Information Technology Sri Ravi Shankar Prasad along with his family offered prayers in the Hill Shrine of Sri Venkateswara Swamy on Friday morning. 

On their arrival, the Union Minister was accorded a grand reception by the TTD EO Sri Anil Kumar Singhal and temple priests and escorted him to the sanctum sanctorum.

After darshan, he was rendered Vedasirvachanam by the vedaparayanamdars of the temple at Ranganayakula Mandapam. TTD EO offered the Minister  Lord’s silk vastram, Lord’s Photo and prasadams.

Temple DyEO Sri Harindranath, Reception Officials Sri Balaji, Sri Prabhakara Reddy were also present.
