Tiruchanoor, 11 Sep. 19: The auspicious ritual of Ankurarpanam was performed on Wednesday evening for the annual festival of Pavitrotsavam at Sri Padmavathi Ammavari temple.
Interested devotees could participate with ₹750 ticket each on which two persons will be allowed during these three days and beget 2 Laddu, 2 vadas as prasadam.
TTD has cancelled all arjita sevas in Tiruchanoor temple from Wednesday to facilitate the Pavitrotsavam event.
DyEO Smt Jhansi Rani, Agama advisor Sri Srinivasacharyulu, AEO Sri Subramanyam Superintendent Smt Malleswari and others participated.
