Tirumala, 30 Oct. 19: Following the call given by the Central Vigilance Commission(CVC), the Vigilance wing of TTD will observe the Vigilance Awareness Week from October 29 till November 3.
Every year during the week is being observed across the country commemorating the birth date of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel - the Iron Man of India on 31st October.
The important activities during the week-long programme includes
· Eradicate Corruption to Build a New India
· Taking Integrity Pledge by all employees
· Organising workshops and sensitization programmes for employees
TTD has also taken up an awareness programme with each section of employees on each day.
On October 31, the anti-corruption pledge will be taken by all employees at Tirumala.
Under the instructions of CVSO Sri Gopinath Jatti, Vigilance SO Sri Prabhakar is looking after events of Vigilance Week.
