All Set for Padvathi Ammavari Brahmotsavams






Tiruchanoor, 21 Nov. 19: The pilgrim centre of Tiruchanoor is all set ready to celebrate the nine-day annual brahmotsavams from November 23 with Ankurarpanam on November 22.
          
The annual brahmotsavams of Sri Padmavathi Ammavaru will be observed with celestial grandeur for nine days every year in the auspicious month of Karthika. This year the most important celestial fete commences with Dhwajarohanam in the designated Vrischika Laganam between 8.30am and 8.50 am.  

VAHANA SEVA ADVANCES IN NIGHT

To facilitate pilgrims, TTD has advanced vahana Seva in the nights by half an hour. Instead of 8pm the vahanas will commence by 7.30pm and last till 11pm. 

ALL ARRANGEMENTS IN PLACE

Meanwhile,e all the departments have geared up for the mega religious festival which is considered the next most important and challenging fete after Tirumala Srivari annual brahmotsavams.

TTD has made elaborate arrangements under the instructions of TTD EO Sri Anil Kumar Singhal and in the supervision of JEO Sri P Basanth Kumar which included engineering works like barricading, setting up of queue lines, LED screens, Annaprasadam counters, addititonal temporary toilets etc to meet the needs of the pilgrim devotees who are expected to throng this religious fete during these nine days especially on the day of Gaja Vahanam, Rathotsavam and Panchami Theertham.

Apart from the regular security and local police, nearly 1000 numbers of Srivari Sevakulu, NCC and Scouts have also been deployed for this big fest.
