Gajagamani Marches Along Mada Streets

Tiruchanoor, 27 Nov. 19: On a pleasant evening on Wednesday, Goddess Sri Padmavathi Devi in all Her divine splendour graced on Her favourite Gaja Vahanam as Loka Mata (Universal Mother) Sri Padmavathi to bless the thousands of devotees.

All the streets lead to Tiruchanoor on Wednesday evening with tens of thousands of devotees making a beeline in the Mada streets to catch a glimpse of Gaja Lakshmi.

Goddess draped in colourful silk vastrams and dazzling jewels marched swiftly along four Mada streets. The Lakshmi Kasula Haram brought from Tirumala stood as a special attraction during the procession.

The paraphernalia, dance troupes, kolatam artists added the flavour to the grand procession.

Amidst tight security cover by TTD Security in co-ordination with police and with the support of 200 scouts and guides and 300 srivari Seva volunteers carried forwarded the procession in a smooth manner.

TTD EO Sri Anil Kumar Singhal, Addl EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy, TTD Board Members Sri Chavireddy Bhaskar Reddy, Sri Shiva Kumar, Dr Nichitha Muppavarapu, Addl CVSO Sri Sivakumar Reddy, Temple DyEO (FAC) Sri C Govindarajan, VSO Sri Prabhakar, Additional Health Officer Dr Sunil and other officers were also present.
