Snapanam with Amla Stands out for the Day







Tiruchanoor, 29 Nov. 19: On the seventh day on Friday,  the Goddess Padmavathi was rendered the celestial snapana tirumanjanam in Sri Krishna Mukha Mandapam. 

During every time when abhishekam is rendered with some sacred ingredient,  the Goddess was decked with one garland and like that eight sets of garlands were decorated during the entire rituals. 

On Friday,  the Garlands well knitted out of Amla stood as centre of attraction. Moreover, according to Hindu tradition,  Amla are considered to be very auspicious in Karthika month. Apart from Amla, garlands made of white betel leaves, black berries,  Tulsi etc.have also been decorated.
