Silk Vastrams Offered to Sri Ranganatha Swamy by TTD

Tirumala, 8 December 2019:In a traditional practice, TTD EO Sri Anil Kumar Singhal presented silk clothes to Sri Ranganadha Swamy at Srirangam in Tamil Nadu on Sunday. On the auspicious day of Kaisika Ekadasi every year, TTD offers pattu vastrams to the presiding deity in Srirangam.

The EO alon with Bokkasam Incharge Sri Gururaja were received by Srirangam temple Chairman Sri Venu Srinivasan on their arrival at the entrance of the temple.

From the past two decades TTD has been presenting the Vastrams to this famous temple located in Tamil Nadu on the auspicious occasion of Kaisika Ekadasi. To reciprocate the offerings made by TTD, the Sri Rangam Devasthanams offers silk vastrams to Srivari during auspicious day of Anivara Asthanam at Tirumala every year.
