Forty Crores for Sri Vani Trust in 100 Days

Tirumala, 29 Jan. 20: Sri Venkateswara Alaya Nirmana (SRIVANI)Trust mulled by TTD towards promotion, propagation and protection of Sanatana Hindu Dharma Prachara has won the hearts of global devotees of Srivaru who have contributed about Rs.40crore in 100 days.

The devotees of Sri Venkateswara Swamy who are spread across the world are contributing largesse for SRIVANI Trust. In order to honour the contribution of the donor towards the cause of Hindu Dharma Parirakshana, a onetime privilege of VIP break darshan was approved by the TTD Board for donors contributing minimum Rs.10 thousands to this trust which has gained momentum since the inception of this privilege from 21 October last year.

So far in the Online 33980 members have booked for darshan taking the donation amount to Rs 26.18crore. So far 18216 members have availed darshan facilities among online donors. While in Offline till January 29, 13380 members have contributed and had darshan of Lord taking the total amount to Rs 13.38cr. 

So far major contributions are from Andhra Pradesh touching the total to 10 crore mark followed by Tamilnadu, Telangana, Karnataka, New Delhi and Maharashtra. 

Even there is an immense response from NRI devotees with major contributions from the US, Malaysia, Singapore and UAE also.

The funds to this Trust will be utilized to renovate temples under dilapidated conditions and also to construct Srivari temples in weaker section areas which are more liable to religious conversions.

The devotees are also hailing the noble move promotion of Sanatana Dharma of TTD Board and mandarins through this Trust and also providing the devotees an opportunity to be a part in the cause of Hindu Parirakshana by donating through this Trust.
