Speaking on the occasion, Former DGP Walter Dawaram said, “I am somewhat far from film industry, but in some way had got the opportunity to be around great personalities like MGR, Jayalalitha and few others. When P Vasu made a film titled Walter Vetrivel, he approached seeking permission to use my name in title. However, there wasn’t any need for such an obligation as they didn’t use my full name. I am really happy about the way the trailer and audio of Walter has come out.”
Director P Vasu said, “The Day 1 shooting of Walter Vetrivel still looks like yesterday where Rajinikanth tapped the clapboard, Prabhu switched on the camera and Vijayakanth directed it. During those times, Sibiraj was very much reluctant about cinema and I never imagined that he would appear so much confident and handsome like this. I used to tell Sathyaraj sir that his second innings is going to be more powerful and in same way, Sibiraj is going to make a big time in the industry now. The police stories that are told properly will click at it best. However, Walter is going to an upgraded scenario as the movie is made by a family of police officers. I had approached Walter sir for getting permission on using his name. However, he told me that Walter is the name of a city and there isn’t any needn’t for such permissions. The only industry that isn’t corrupted is cinema, where you can’t buy anything you want. Every time I see Sibiraj, it’s like seeing my own son.”
Producer G Dhananjayan said, “Anbu has done a wonderful job and I can see it very much through the visuals and songs. Sibiraj, Samuthirakani and Natty - I am very much sure that these three actors are having equal substantiality in the film. I wish the entire team great success.”
Action choreographer Vicky said, “I am extremely happy for being a part of this film and I am thankful for producer and director for giving me an opportunity to be a part of Walter.”
Art Director AR Mohan said, “The entire team is talented and they have all exhibited their prowess in a much elegant style.”
Actor Bhava Chelladurai said, “When director Prabhu asked me to be part of this film, I was really enthralled and this movie is extremely good.”

Producer CV Kumar said, “I have produced a lot of movies that were based on serious storyline. I wanted to try something on fun and chose Sibiraj’s Naaigal Jaakirathai for distribution and earned good profit.”
Cinematographer-actor Natty said, “11:11 Productions is sure to make good quality films. I thank Gautham Vasudev Menon sir for dropping this offer or else, I would have not got this opportunity. You will get to see a different avatar of mine in the film.”

Cinematographer Rasamathi said, “Walter is a special movie to me and I am extremely happy to be a part of it. The cast and crew of this film is more like a family and the film has come out really well. Producer Prabhu sir identified this film was a valuable one and came forward to materialise it. I can assure that he will be soon appearing in a new avatar as filmmaker. I am thankful to Sibiraj sir for giving me an opportunity to handle camera works for his other movie Kabadadaari.”
Actor Charlie said, “Usually, there’s a saying that when an actor is successful, hison or daughter would find it difficult to claim success. In contrast, Sibiraj has carved a niche for himself and it is very much evident with the moments, where I worked with him. Producer Prabhu has guts to make good cinema and he will continue to make more such movies.”
Actress Yamini, granddaughter of late filmmaker Trilok Chandar said, “Walter is a special film to me and I thank director for giving me a chance to be a part of the film.”
Actress Athulya Ravi said, “The production house is more like a family to me. I have learnt a lot from Sibiraj sir while working with him. He has done remarkable preparations for this film. To look fit, he had to hit gyms even when he wasn’t feeling well.”

Actor Sibiraj said, “While using the title ‘Walter’, I had lots of challenges as there would be comparisons. However, I was confident that the content will speak off it. For a very long time, I thought that Walter Dawaram sir had attended the movie launch of Walter Vetrivel and P Vasu sir later clarified saying that he didn’t make it for the occasion. Nonetheless, I am so happy that he is here for this audio launch. Prabhu Thilak sir is a dedicated producer that he even took part in each and every process of this project. One of the great elements that contributed towards the success of my father Walter Vetrivel movie was child sentiment. I can assure that there are lots of child emotions involved in this film.”
Director Anbu said, “During my hardships on finding producer for Walter, Sibiraj sir has journeyed alongside me. In fact, even after the film was to take off with another hero, Sibiraj told me that his instincts are that he is going to be a part of this movie. I have even used the Instinct reference in the movie. As a producer, Prabhu sir has been a solace during many occasions. He would be a safeguard and doesn’t let the production issues pose a threat to shooting. If Natty sir hadn’t agreed to be a part of this film on spur of moment, this film would have been incomplete till today.”
Producer Shruthi Thilak said, “Such an occasion like this is something new to me and I am hoping for more. After getting into production of movies, I am spellbound over the hard work and sincerity of every member. Each and every artiste in the film have given an excellent performance. Especially, Rythvika has appeared in a promising role that not many actresses would have accepted it. She will definitely gain appreciations for her performance.”
Producer Prabhu Thilak said, “My passion towards cinema is a journey of 25 years. The industry is like a double sided sword and we need to be careful about it. I had dreamt of such an evening for a very long time and it has come true now. Samuthirakani sir is one good reason behind me standing here.
