Ankurarpanam For Sri Kalayana Venkateswara Swamy Vari Temple Brahmotsavam's on 13th Feb

Tirupati, 12 Feb. 20: The seed sowing festival of Ankurarpanam will be performed on February 13 for the annual brahmotsavams at Srinivasa Mangapuram, which are going to commence from February 14.

As a part of this ritual, the sacred soil is collected and navadhanyas are being sown in different mud pots. Before that Vishwaksena Aradhana is performed. 

This fete signifies, that the moon rays fell on these nine mud pots called Palikas which help in the healthy growth of seeds thus signifying the successful conduct of annual brahmotsavams.
