Tiruchanoor, 01 Feb. 20:The unique festival of Ratha Sapthami and Surya Jayanti commenced at the Sri Padmavathi Ammavari Temple, Tiruchanoor with the awesome Surya Prabha vahanam on Saturday morning.
It is a popular practice of TTD to conduct seven vahana sevas on a single day today to bless a vast galaxy of devotees. Goddess took out a celestial ride on Hamsa, Aswa, Garuda, Chinna Sesha Vahanam in the morning hours and the afternoon break was filled up with spectacular snapana thirumanjanam. Later in the evening, the Goddess marched along the four Mada streets on bewitching Chandra Prabha Vahanam and concluded with Gaja Vahanam.
TTD also rolled out Aswa vahanam at Sri Suryanarayana Swamy temple in Tiruchanoor on Saturday morning.
DyEO Smt Jhansi Rani, AEO Sri Subramanyam, Superintendent Smt Malleswari and other officials and devotees participated.
