Kapilatrirtha Vibha Rides Maka Vahanam

Tirupati, 17 Feb. 20: It was a majestic ride of Sri Skandamurthy flanked by His beloved consort Sri Kamakshi Ammavaru on Makara Vahanam on the bright sunny day on Monday as a part of the ongoing annual Brahmotsavams at Sri Kapileswara Swamy Temple in Tirupati.

The procession was marked with devotees offering harati and the bhajan teams performing kolatams, drums etc. to the accompaniment of Mangal vaidyams which magnified the devotional fervour in the temple city.

After morning vahana seva, the archakas performed grand snapana thirumanjanam to utsava idols of Somaskandamurthy and Sri Kamakshi Devi.

DyEO Sri Subramanyam, Superintendent Sri Bhupathi Raju, AVSO Sri Surendra, Temple Inspectors Sri Reddy Sekhar, Sri Srinivas Naik and others participated.
