Tirupati, 6 Feb. 20: The utsava idols of Sri Govindarajaswamy and His consorts were taken out in a grand procession on a tastefully decorated float on the fifth day of the ongoing annual float festival on Thursday evening in Tirupati.
Earlier in the day, the utsava idols were given snapana thirumanjanam. The utsava idols took out seven rounds in the Pushkarani and thereafter were also paraded on the Mada streets.
The artists of TTDs HDPP and Annamacharya Project rendered bhajans, Harikatha and sangeet programs on the occasion.
Sri Sri Sri Chinna Jeeyar, Special grade DyEO Smt Varalakshmi, AEO Sri Ravi Kumar Reddy, Superintendents Sri Raj Kumar and temple inspectors Sri Krishna Murthy and Sri Munindra Babu and large number of devotees participated.
