Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple Soon in Jammu - TTD Eo

Tirumala, 7 Feb. 20: The construction works of Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple will be commenced soon in Jammu, said TTD EO Sri Anil Kumar Singhal.

Speaking to media persons on Friday at Tirumala, the EO said, the Government of Jammu has identified seven places towards the construction of the temple. "Our team of officials have already visited all these places and selected four suitable places. Today we will be reaching Jammu to inspect those places and come to a final conclusion after negotiating with our officers", he added.

The EO also said, that the TTD board also approved for temple construction at Varanasi. "Already TTD had constructed Sri Venkateswara Swamy temples at Kanyakumari, Kurukshetra, Hyderabad and the temples are underway at Chennai, Visakhapatnam and Bhuvaneshwar. A Veda pathashala is also coming up in Kurukshetra soon. The Government of Maharastra has already allotted land at Bandra in Mumbai and a temple of Sri Venkateswara Swamy will be constructed soon at Rs.30crore", he added.
