Somesh Kumar,IAS., Chief Secretary to Govt. held a meeting with Inter-Ministerial Central Team(IMCT)

Somesh Kumar,IAS, Chief Secretary made a detailed presentation on the efforts taken by the Telangana State Government to contain the Spread of Covid-19 in the State.

The Inter Ministerial Central team (IMCT) with Sri Arun Baroka, Addl. Secretary, Ministry of Jal Shakti, Team Leader, Dr.Chandrashekhar Gedam, Sr. Public Health Specialist, Dr. Hemlatha, Director, National Institute of Nutrition, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Sri.S.S. Thakur, Director, Ministry of  Consumers Affairs and Sri. Shekhar Chaturvedi, Associate Professor, National Institute of Disaster Management as members met the Chief Secretary today at BRKR Bhavan.

Chief Secretary informed that the all the Departments working as a team and prepared over all strategy for COVID Management. The Presentation given on treatment, maintaining containment zones, quarantine centres, hospital preparedness, surveillance, testing, helpline, procurement of medical equipment, supply of rice to white ration card holders, relief measures to migrant workers, Annapurna centres and Shelter homes.

He said that our Hon’ble Chief Minister Sri K.Chandra Shekhar Rao has given directions to save the lives of our people and minimize the positive cases and deaths and to implement lockdown strictly in the State.

The Central Team appreciated the initiatives taken by the State Government to contain Corona Virus in the State.
