Tirupati, 2 April 2020: The prestigious event of Sri Ramanavami Asthanam as part of Sri Ramanavami festival celebrations was held at the TTD local temple of Sri Kodandarama Swamy temple on Thursday in Tirupati.
Earlier during the day as a part of the annual festival special Snapana Thirumanjanam was also organised for the utsava idols of Sri Sita Lakshmana Sametha Sri Ramachandra Swamy.
Later in the evening new sesha vastrams were offered on behalf of Sri Sri Sri Pedda Jeeyar swami at the temple ahead of the Sri Rama Janma Puranam and Asthanam events.
Temple Dyeo Smt Shanti and Superintendent Sri Ramesh participated.
SRI SITARAMA KALYANAM ON APRIL 7
In view of the Corona virus eradication programs, the TTD has cancelled the Sri Sitarama Kalyanam as mass programme with the participation of pilgrims. However the celestial event will be held in temple with limited temple staff as a part of Sri Ramanavami celebrations scheduled on April 7.
