K.T.Rama Rao, Hon’ble Minister for MA&UD held a meeting on Telangana Ku Haritha Haram (6th Phase)


Hon’ble Minister MA&UD Sri.K.Taraka Ramarao held review meeting with the  Corporators  & GHMC officials  on the implementation of  Telanganaku Haritha Haram Programme, here today.
Further the Minister said, the 6th phase of Haritha Haram will be implemented from 25th of June to 15th August, 2020 and Hon’ble Chief Minister will launch the programme on 25th June, 2020. He said that the Government fixed the target of 2.5 Crores saplings plantatation in GHMC area. As part of Haritha Haram 700 tree parks and 75 Yadadri model plantations  will be taken up in GHMC. Yadadri Model plantation should be taken up where sufficient Government lands are available ie.  O.U , Central University, NGRI , Endowment lands and other lands.   To improve greenery in the state, Hon’ble Chief Minister Sri.K.Chandra Shekar Rao, envisaged massive task of 230 Crores saplings to be planted in the state in a phased manner and designed to TKHH programme.       
The Hon’ble MA&UD Minister instructed to create awareness among the people,  the need of greenery is evitable at the juncture and to create good ambiance to the future generation for their well being and explain the benefits of clean air to keep the body in good health. He asked Corporators, and officials to involve the local residents, Residential Welfare Associations, Colony Welfare Associations ensure more number of saplings planted. To monitor the Haritha Haram Programme, he advised the Corporators to create wattsup group for proper implementation of tree plantation. The Hon’ble Minister instructed the Corporators to prepare Green Action Plan in their respective divisions by 30th of June and to have details of open places, schools, Colleges, Government Institutions, no of parks, graveyards, lakes, ponds and nalas where the saplings can be planted. Further instructed the Corporators to visit each and every house and distribute the saplings as per their requirement and also take plantation of mosquito repellent plants along bunds to reduce mosquito menace in that area and herbal and medicinal plants to minimize bad odor. Further he instructed to provide 2 nurseries  in each division. Regarding providing infrastructure to the citizens about 3000 Public Toilets will be  constructed  by 15th August, 2020 he added.   
Hon’ble Minister Sri.Srinivas Yadav, asked the Corporators to  involve RWAs and Colony people and co-ordinate with them for success of tree plantation and create awareness among them the necessary of green cover for wellbeing of society and it their responsibility to proved good environment to the coming generation as they their property to their children, provide masks and sanitizers and maintain social distance during programme.        
Hon’ble Minister Sri. T.Srinivas Yadav presided over the TKHH meeting held in GHMC Head office. Hon,ble Minister for Labour  Sri. Ch.Malla Reddy, H.w.Mayor Dr.Bonthu Rammohan, Musi  River Development Corporation  Chairman   & Hon’ble  MLA Sri. Sudheer Reddy, Hon’ble MP Ranjit Reddy, Hon’ble MLCs Sri. M.S.Prabhakar Sri. Shambipur Raju, Sri.Yeggi Mallesham, Hon’ble MLAs Kaleru Venkatesh, Muta Gopal, D.Nagender, B.Subash Reddy, K.P. Vivekanand,  Sayanna, Commissioner GHMC Sri. Lokesh Kumar, Collector, Hyd Smt. Swetha Mohanthy Zonal Commissioner, Deputy Commissioners and Senior Officials Urban Bio diversity attend the programme.
