Sundrakanda To Commence from 11th June

Tirumala, 10 Jun. 20: The Yoga Vasishtyam and Dhanwantari Maha Mantra Parayanam, devotional programme mulled by TTD is aimed at to weed off Corona COVID 19 virus from the entire world and resume darshan of Sri Venkateswara Swamy at Tirumala, has won the hearts of millions and millions of devotees across the globe.
The programme designed by Additional EO of TTD and SVBC MD Sri AV Dharma Reddy which commenced on April 10, in the Nada Neerajanam platform at Tirumala, continued for 62 days and concluded on Wednesday. The Principal of Dharmagiri Veda Vignana Peetham at Tirumala, Sri KSS Avadhani carried out the programme with finesse with Mantra Parayanam which was telecasted live by Sri Venkateswara Bhakti Channel of TTD every day between 7am and 8am.
Apart from the Yoga Vasishtyam and Dhanwantari Maha Mantra Parayanam, every day, one Mantram invoking the blessings of one deity who is considered auspicious for that weekday was also recited including Gayatri Stotram, Harinama Maala Stotram, Garuda Dandakam, Anjaneya Navarathnamala, Dakshinamurthy Varnamala Stotram, Sri Goda Stuti, Kamalajadayitastakam, Hayagreeva kavacham, Sudarshana Stotram, Sri Stuthi, Sri Varaha Kavacham, Sri Venkateswara Saranagati Stotram etc. were rendered on each day on all these 62 days.
Each day one department in TTD took part in this Parayanam. Tirumala locals also took part in this programme. All the guidelines of COVID 19 were strictly observed during the seating arrangements in the Nada Neerajana Mandapam. TTD Chairman Sri YV Subba Reddy, EO Sri Anil Kumar Singhal, Tirupati JEO Sri P Basant Kumar, heads of various departments participated in this programme on each day.
On the last day of Yoga Vasishtyam, the artists of Annamacharya Project of TTD participated and rendered melodious notes of Saint Poet Sri Tallapaka Annamacharya and raised spiritual fervour among the participants by reciting Govinda Namas in a vibrant manner. TTD Asthana Vidhwan Dr G Balakrishna Prasad, senior artists Dr G Madhusudhana Rao, Sri Raghunath, Smt Bullemma rendered Annamacharya Sankeertans and Namas. TTD Trust Board Member Sri Vaidyanathan Krishnamurthy, Annamacharya Project Director Sri S Dakshinamurthy were also present.

Seeing the unprecedented reception from devotees present across the world, TTD has placed all the Mantra Malas recited during the last 62 days in its official website for the ease of the devotees.  
SUNDARAKANDA PARAYANAM
As the Darshan for pilgrims is set to resume on June 11, TTD has now planned to recite the popular "Sundarakanda Stotra Manjari" from Thursday onwards. Sundarakanda is usually recited for restoring peace and harmony on the domestic front and also to remove negative forces and protects against diseases ensuring good health and overcoming financial crises. This programme will also be live telecasted by SVBC between 7am and 8am from Nada Neerajana Mandapam at Tirumala.
