Tirupati, 16 Jul. 20: The holy ritual of Pavitrotsavam, aimed at warding of bad impact of lapses in festivals etc. in TTD local temple of Sri Kodandarama Swamy temple commenced on Thursday.
Promoted by TTD with the objective to protect the divine charm of the temple the first day programs included Sahasra namarchana, snapana thirumanjanam for utsava idols at yagashala followed by Sattumora and Asthanam.
