Teak forest breeze Urban park in yellampet Reserve Forest

CMO, Forest Dept, TSIIC officers inspected the yellampet Reserve forest block for development of visitors zone. 

The block is abutting the NH 44 about 5 kms from medchal. Total area is 230 acres. Rich in biodiversity unlikely of Hyderabad forest type. The forest gives a feel that we are deep jungles of Hyderabad. Forest is rich in teak, maddi, are, ippa, pala, tuniki etc, has very good population of deers, peacocks and many types of birds.

Visited today to speed up development of visitors zone. The forest conservation and water harvesting and fencing works are almost completed. The park will be ready by September as planed. All of them walked for 3 kms inside forest and planted saplings.

TSIIC is developing this park, and named as Teak forest breeze Urban park in yellampet RF.
