Tirupati, 29 Aug. 20: TTD is organising Ankurarpanam on August 30, for the three-day Pavitrotsavam festival slated from August 31-September 2 at the Sri Padmavati Ammavari Temple at Tiruchanoor.
The Pavitrotsavam is an annual festival held to ward off the ill effects of any lapses committed by either the archaea and temple staff or devotees during the year-long activities in the temple.
As part of the festival Pavitra Pratista is held on August 31, Pavitra Samarpana on September and Purnahuti program on September 2.
In view of Covid-19 restrictions, all the programs and events will be conducted in Ekantham inside the temple.
