Bhumi Pooja Performed at Tirumala for Karnataka Chowltries Complex







Tirumala, 24 Sep. 20: The Honourable Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Sri Y S Jaganmohan Reddy along with his Karnataka counterpart Honourable Sri BS Yediyurappa took part in the Bhumi Puja for the 200 crore new complex which will be constructed the land meant for Karnataka Choultries.

 

The new complex will be built in the 7.05 acres of land leased by TTD to Karnataka Charities in the year 2008. Recently both Government of Karnataka and TTD had agreed to build an accommodation complex at a cost of 200 crore.

 

Earlier the Karnataka Endowments Commissioner Smt Rohini Sindhuri made a power point presentation on the complex structure which will be coming up soon with 252 ordinary rooms for pilgrims, 32 suit rooms, 12 dormitories, Kalyana Mandapam and dining hall apart from the rejuvenation of the existing Pushkarani.

 

AP deputy CM Sri Narayanaswamy, Sri Allasani, TTD chairman Sri Y V Subba Reddy, state ministers Sri Valampalli Srinivasa Rao, Sri Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy, Karnataka Endowment Minister Sri Srinivasa Poojary, MPs Sri Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy, Sri Mithun Reddy, TTD EO Sri Anil Kumar Reddy, several MLAs, TTD board members, Additional EO Sri A V Dharma Reddy, CVSO Sri Gopinath Jatti, Tirupati Urban SP Sri Ramesh Reddy, CE Sri Ramesh Reddy, SE-2 Sri Nageswar Rao, EE Sri Jaganmohan Reddy were also present.
