Koil Alwar Event at Srivari Temple on 15th Sep

Tirumala, 5 Sep. 20: Ahead of the twin Brahmotsavams this year at Srivari temple, from September 19 till 27 and October 16 to 24, TTD is organising the holy Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam event on September 15.

 

The sacred ritual of cleansing the temple is performed usually four times a year- on Ugadi, Anivara Asthanam, annual Brahmotsavam and Vaikunta Ekadasi and particularly on a Tuesday prior to these festivals.

 

The holy cleansing activity will commence after morning rituals from 6am onwards and lasts for over three hours.

 

In view of the Covid-19 restrictions, the entire exercise will be held in Ekantam.
