Catherine Tresa's parents are from Kerala. She was born in Dubai and she completed her 12th class there, she moved to Bangalore for further studies. Kannada movie Shankar IPS was her first movie, with Chammak Challo she entered Telugu films. So far she did nearly 25 movies in all languages.
