Pharma Giant Hetero Drugs Adopts 2,543 acres of Mambapur- Nallavelli Forest area:

Government of Telangana efforts in protection of Forests and Haritahararm Program under the visionary leadership of Honourable CM KCR and Green India Challenge initiated by

Rajya Sabha MP Joginapally Santosh Kumar inspired Hetero Pharma to adopt  2,543 acres of Mambapur - Nallavelli Forest area.

Hetero Chairman Dr Partha Saradhi Reddy after planting saplings and laying foundation stone at Urban Forest, handed over a cheque of ₹ 5 Crores to the Government in the presence of Min for Forest Indrakaran Reddy, RS MP Santosh Kumar, Forest officials and Public representatives.

Mumbapur Urban Forest Block is located near Gundlapochampalli, near Outer Ring road Hyderabad is located in Sangareddy district. The Urban forestry is extended in 3 compartments.

Mumbapur (1777acres), Nallavelli (766 acres) is adopted by Hetero Pharma.

Honourable CM KCR recently visited Narsapur Forest area and ordered Forest officials to take proper care and protection as it's located near Outer ring road near Industrial Corridors and Highways of  Narsapur-Medak Bhodhan.

Hetero Chairman Dr Partha Saradhi Reddy appreciated Govt of Telangana efforts and RS MP Santosh initiation. He stated that these efforts motivated him to come forward for adoption.

RS MP Santosh Kumar appreciated Hetero Pharma, a world leader in retro viral drugs and which has presence in 126 counties for coming forward with social commitment and environmental concern to protect greenery by adopting Urban Forest.

Recently Film actor Prabhas also adopted Urban forest and many more are expected to come forward in the same lines.

Minister Indrakaran Reddy explained the Govts efforts in saving environment to Hetero representatives.

Mumbapur Forest area development program:

Stabilisation of  2,543 acres of Urban Forest  by fencing almost 25Km periphery and development of a Small eco park would be taken up by the money donated by Hetero Park.

The 630 m hilly area located at almost

 2 km inside the forest would be developed as a view point.

Forest officials stated that this efforts would increase the population of rare species of trees, deers wolfs, rabbits, peacocks and many other native species.
