Tiruchanoor, 10 Nov. 20: As a festival of prelude to annual Karthika Brahmotsavams of Sri Padmavathi Devi at Tiruchanoor, Ankurarpanam fete was performed on Tuesday evening.
Before the seed sowing fete was carried out, Senadhipathi Utsavam was performed. The entire ritual was carried out as per the tenets of Pancharatra Agama between 6:30am and 8:30am in the temple.
Meanwhile in view of Covid guidelines, the entire fete is carried out in Ekantam.
On November 11, the mega religious fete will commence with Dhwajarohanam in the auspicious Dhanur Lagnam between 9:30am and 9:47am.
TTD EO Dr KS Jawahar Reddy, JEO Sri Basanth Kumar, Temple DyEO Smt Jhansi Rani and others took part.
