Karthika Parva Deepotsavam on 29th Nov

 Tirumala, 27 Nov. 20: The annual Karthika Parva Deepotsavam, the festival of lights will be observed in Tirumala temple on November 29.

 

After the evening Kainkaryams and Naivedyams, the ghee lit lamps in Mukullu will be placed at different places in the temple. This event takes place between 5pm and 8pm. 

 

TTD has cancelled Sahasra Deepalankara Seva in view of this festival on that day.

 

Meanwhile the auspicious Karthika Masa Pournami Garuda Seva will be observed on November 30 in four mada streets of Tirumala between 7pm and 8:30pm. 

 

Similarly the Pushya Masa Pournami Garuda Seva will be observed on January 28, Magha Masa Pournami Garuda Seva on February 27.
