Tiruchanoor, 19 Nov. 20: On the last day of ongoing Karthika Brahmotsavam of Goddess Sri Padmavati, Panchami Theertham (chakrasnanam) was observed on Thursday morning.
The holy event was conducted at the special water tank set up inside the temple during the kumbha lagnam at 11.52 am.
Earlier Padmavati Ammavari Pallaki utsavam was performed at the temple and the utsava idol was seated in the vahana mandapam.
Meanwhile the Srivari sare specially prepared for the occasion was brought in a procession from Srivari Temple at Tirumala to Tiruchanoor.
SPECIAL ORNAMENTS FOR AMMAVARU FROM SRIVARI TEMPLE
As part of tradition 112-gram gold medal, 249-gram platinum Lakshmi medal and a platinum chain with dashavatara medals were also brought in a procession for decorating Goddesses Padmavati.
Other decorations included various fruits, Pineapple, black can berry, Tulasi and garlands made of orchid flowers and flowery crowns donated by devotees of Tirupur and prepared by artists from Salem.
ATTRACTIVE MANDAPAM OF FRUITS AND FLOWERS
The TTD garden department had decorated the vahana Mandapam with Tamara flowers, apple, and green apple, Roses. Sampangi and six varieties of cut flowers.
Both the senior and junior Pontiffs of Tirupati, TTD Chairman Sri YV Subba Reddy, TTD EO Dr KS Jawahar Reddy, Addl EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy, Chandragiri MLA Dr Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy, Smt Prashanti Reddy, Sri Sampat Ravi Narayana, JEOs Sri P Basant Kumar, Smt Sada Bhargavi, CVSO Sri Gopinath Jatti and others participated.

TTD is organising annual Pushpa yagam of Padmavati temple on Friday between 3-5 pm.
