SBI Chief Calls on TTD Chairman

Tirumala, 29 Nov. 20: TTD Chairman Sri YV Subba Reddy on Sunday sought the SBI Chairman Sri Dinesh Kumar Khurana to facilitate the TTD with higher interest rates on its Fixed Deposits.

 

Thr SBI Chairman and other SBI officials called on the TTD Chairman at the latter's camp office in  Tirumala on Sunday.

 

During the meet, the TTD Chairman said reduced interest rates on bank deposits during the lockdown period had cast a negative impact on TTD fixed deposits.

 

Since the situation is slowly back to normalcy, the SBI should treat the TTD as a special case in view of its widespread socio-economic and religious - welfare activities and provide higher interest rates.

 

The SBI chairman responded favorably to look into the TTD appeal.

 

Chief GM of SBI of Amaravati circle Sri Sanjay, Deputy GM Sri S Giridhar, Assistant GM Sri Satyanarayana Rao were also present.
