Tirumala, 6 Dec. 20: The holy fete of Balalaya Maha Samprokshana of Sri Varahaswami temple commenced on Sunday and is slated to conclude on December 10.
On Sunday morning the Archakas lighted the Homa Gundas in the yagashala and began vaidika activities like Punyahavachanam, Viswaksena Aradhana, Panchagavya Aradhana, Vaastu Homam, Raksha bandhanm etc.
KALAKARSHANA
As part of the Kalakarshana the Shakti of Mula idol of Sri Varaha swami is captured in Kumbha (kalasha) and taken to yagashala on Sunday evening.
DECEMBER 7,8,9 ACTIVITES
Special vaidika programs are performed in the yagashala both morning and evening at the Yagashala of the Sri Varahaswami temple.
Kankana Bhattar and Chief Priest Sri Venugopal Dikshitulu, Vaikhanasa Agama Advisors Sri NAK Sundara Varadan, Sri Mohana Rangacharyulu, Temple chief Archakas Sri Govindaraja Dikshitulu and Sri Sheshachala Dikshitulu, Rutwiks and officials were also present.
