72nd Republic Day Observed with Patriot Fervour in Tirupati

 Tirupati, 26 Jan. 21: Inspite of Covid lockdown, TTD has overcome the crisis with the team efforts of the strong workforce of TTD and even the nitya kainkaryams have continued in Ekantam without deviation of Agama Sastra with the dedication religious staffs under the supervision of Tirumala Jeeyangar Swamijis and the institution won the accolades for this team effort, said TTD EO Dr KS Jawahar Reddy.

After hoisting the National Flag on the occasion of 72nd Republic Day celebrations at Parade Grounds behind TTD Administrative Building on Tuesday in Tirupati, in his address, EO thanked all religious, workforce, sanitation workers, volunteers and above pilgrims for their support even during the high time.

He said, Srivari Darshan resumed from June 11 onwards for pilgrims after initiating health safety measures as per Covid-19 guidelines of state/central governments for both Devotees and TTD staff.  TTD provided comfortable Srivari Darshan to devotees and won worldwide accolades from dignitaries and devotees.  

The EO said after consulting 26 Peethadhipathis, TTD has successfully organised 10 day Vaikunta dwara Darshan for devotees from December 25 till January 3 for the first time providing a cheerful darshan to 4.26lakh pilgrims. Pursuing Covid guidelines, only ticket holders will be allowed at Alipiri for Radhasapthami, which is scheduled on February 19, he added.

Under the directives of AP CM to promote sanatana Hindu Dharma TTD has launched the Gudiko Gomata program of donating a pair of Cow and calf to temples across the nation from holy Karthika month last year. Subsequently cow and calf program was launched at Sri Kanaka Durga temple of Vijayawada and thereafter in Karnataka, Telangana states and soon will be commenced in Tamilnadu.

EO also made a brief note of various spiritual and dharmic programmes taken up by TTD including Sundarakanada Deeksha, Gita Parayanam, Virataparvam, Karthikamasa Deeksha, Dhanurmasa Deeksha etc.taken up by TTD since lockdown period and said the programmes will continue to instil the spiritual fervour among people and especially the youth to aquire courage to overcome all the problems, he added.

The EO also mentioned about various Srivari temple constructions which have completed, under way and being contemplated at Hyderabad, Vizag, Jammu and Kashmir etc. He said Tirumala is also going to get a make over with more greenery, plastic free, pollution free environment soon. The EO said various development activities are underway at Tirumala including repairs of rest houses, beautification of gardens, SV Museum, etc.

PARADE FEAT

The parade feat performance by NCC Cadets, Horses stood as cynosure during the entire event. The R-Day parade reminded of the one at Redfort in Country's capital. 

MERIT CERTIFICATES

For the services offered by the employees, Merit Certificates were given to 38 Senior Officers and 243 employees of various departments in TTD by EO and other top brass officials.

TTD Additional EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy, JEOs Sri P Basanth Kumar, Smt Sada Bhargavi, CVSO Sri Gopinath Jatti, FACAO Sri Balaji, CE Sri Ramesh Reddy, DLO Sri Reddeppa Reddy, Additional CVSO Sri Venkata Siva Reddy, CAO Sri Sesha Sailendra, GM Transport Sri Sesha Reddy and others were also present.
