AP CM to Attend TTD Kamadhenu Gopuja at Narasaraopeta on 15th Jan






Tirumala, 12 Jan. 21: The Honourable Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Sri YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will take part in the prestigious Kamadhenu Gopuja mulled by TTD on the auspicious day of Kanuma on January 15 at Narasaraopeta in Guntur district.

 

TTD Additional EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy and JEO Sri P Basanth Kumar on Tuesday made a spot inspection of the venue of Sports Authority Stadium Grounds at Narasaraopeta where the sacred Kamadhenu Puja (Gopuja) as part of its agenda for Promotion of Sanatana Hindu Dharma on January 15.

 

TTD Additional EO and JEO directed officials to coordinate efforts with local MLA Dr Gopireddy Srinivasa Reddy and Guntur District Administration and complete all arrangements on a war footing.

 

SIMULTANEOUS GOPUJA ALL OVER STATE: TTD JEO SRI P BASANTH KUMAR

 

Speaking to media, TTD JEO Sri P Basanth Kumar said since decades TTD has been conducting Gopuja on Kanuma festival day. This year besides the 50 temples in TTD, Gopuja will be conducted at all 996 temples of State Endowments Department at 3.45 pm on January 15.

 

He also confirmed the participation of Honourable Chief Minister Sri YS Jaganmohan Reddy in the Kamadhenu Gopuja, which is aimed at bestowing prosperity and good health of entire humanity.

 

Local MLA Dr Srinivasa Reddy said it is a good fortune for the people of Narasaraopeta that the event is being conducted by TTD in Narasaraopeta where CM will also taking part. He expressed his confidence that this sacred event would bring good fortunes to State.

 

Guntur District Collector Sri Samuel Anand, Rural SP Sri Vishal Gunny, Kotappakonda Temple EO Sri Annapureddy Ramkoti Reddy, Local ISKON representatives, TTD CVSO Sri Gopinath Jatti, Chief Engineer Sri Ramesh Reddy and others were also present.
