Eighth Edition of Akhanda Sundrakanda Parayanam Held

Tirumala, 2 Jan. 21: The Eighth Edition of Akhand Sundarakanda parayanam held at nadaneerajanam Mandapam in Tirumala on Saturday. 

 

With an aim to save the world from the clutches of Corona Virus, TTD has been organising Sundarakanda Parayanam since June 2020. So far, TTD has completed 7 editions of Sundarakanda akhanda parayanam. 

 

During the eighth edition of Sundarakanda akhanda parayanam, a total of 195 slokas have been recited by nearly 200 Vedic scholars from 31 to 35 Sargas of Sundarakanda. 

 

Veda Vignana Peetham Principal Sri KSS Avadhani lead the recitation of Shlokas.  At the beginning of the program Annamacharya sankeertana while at the end of the program Hanuman Bhajan were rendered by the artistes of TTD.

 

Additional EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy, VC of National Sanskrit Varsity Sri Muralidhara Sharma, Annamacharya Project Director Sri Dakshinamurthy, Higher Vedic Studies Special Officer Sri Vibhishana Sharma, devotees were also present.
