TTD Chairman Visits Blind and Oldage Homes






Tirupati, 7 Jan. 21: TTD Chairman Sri YV Subba Reddy accompanied by his spouse on Thursday visited the Navjeevan seva Samsthan for blind and aged at Tiruchanoor.

 

As part of annual their service agenda on New Year they presented clothes and sweets to 30 senior citizens and 70 blind students besides offering a financial assistance of Rs.50,000.

 

Speaking on the occasion the TTD chairman said he was associated with the Navjeevan trust for 15 years, which managed a school for blind, old age home, eye hospital providing free operations, free education and shelter to senior citizens for last 42 years.

 

He said once in a year the blind students and senior citizen were provided Srivari Darshan. Students keen on singing Annamaiah sankeetans and trained by music teacher Sri Reddappa will be provided training under the Annamacharya project and given an opportunity to exhibit their talents at the Nada Niranjanam platform.

 

Sri R Srinivasan, secretary of Navjeevan trust, head master of blind school Smt Umadevi, teacher Sri Muniratnam and others were present.
