Tirupati, 23 Feb. 21: Ahead of annual Brahmotsavam from March 2 to 10 at Sri Kalyana Venkateswara temple in Srinivasa Mangapuram, Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam was observed on Tuesday.
The program began in the early hours after daily rituals in which all desi herbs and detergents were used to cleanse the temple premises from top to bottom including vimana, walls, sanctum, puja vessels etc. and sarva Darshan for devotees commenced at 11.00 am.
CURTAINS DONATED:
A devotee from Tirupati Sri Narsimhulu has donated two curtains and two Kuralas for use during the ensuing Brahmotsavams.
Temple DyEO Smt Shanti, AEO Sri Dhananjayudu, Superintendent Sri Changalrayulu, temple inspector Sri Srinivasulu, Temple Archakas and others were present.
BRAHMOTSAVAMS IN EKANTHAM
The Brahmotsavam of Sri Kalyana Venkateshwara temple will be held in Ekantham as per COVID guidelines.
On March 1 evening Ankurarpanam will be conducted with rituals of Punyahavachanam, Mrutsangrahanam and Senadhipati utsavam.
