TTD To Perform Special Rituals During Magha Masam - TTD EO


Tirumala, 5 Feb. 21: After successfully performing the Karthika Masa and Dhanurmasa Deeksha programmes in a big way which won laurels from devotees of Srivaru present across the world, TTD is all set to observe a series of special pujas in the ensuing Magha Masam, said TTD EO Dr KS Jawahar Reddy.

 

Before receiving the calls from pilgrim callers across the country as part of Dial your EO programme held at the Conference Hall of TTD Administrative Building in Tirupati on Friday, the EO briefed about the upcoming activities mulled by TTD. He said, as the Magha Masa is commencing from next Friday onwards, there will be Magha Purana Pravachanam at Nada Neeranjanam platform everyday between 6 am and 6.40 am from February 12 till March 13.

 

Enlisting the series of religious programmes lined up during Magha Masam, the EO said, on February 14-Magha Bhanu Puja at Dharmagiri Veda Pathashala in Tirumala on February 15 Kunda Chaturthi Abhisekam for Lord Siva at Tirupati Dhyanaramam where in Abhishekam will be performed to the deity with jasmines, On February 16- Vasantha Panchami Mahotsavam at Nellore, February 19-Rathasapthami in Tirumala, February 23-Bhishma Ekadasi,Sundarakanda and Vishnu Sahasra Nama parayanams, February 27-Magha Purnima Punya Snanam at Triveni Sangamam in Kaleswaram of Telangana State, March 11-Maha Nyasapurvaka Rudrabhisekam at Dhyanaramam in Tirupati on the occasion of Maha Shivaratri. EO said all these programmes will be telecasted live on SVBC for the benefit of devotees who are present across the world.

 

Among the other important development activites included revival of Annamacharya Sankeetans and Sri Purandharadasa Padas, promotion of Panchagavya products, commencement of online virtual kalyanams in Sri Padmavathi Ammavari temple at Tiruchanoor soon, printing and publication of epic puranams as a part of dharmic mission, construction of 500 more Sri Venkateswara Swamy temples in SC, ST, BC, fishermen colonies during second phase in both Telugu states etc.

 

Additional EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy, CVSO Sri Gopinath Jatti, CE Sri Ramesh Reddy, CEO SVBC Sri Suresh Kumar and other senior officers were also present.
