Covid Guidelines must for Srivari Darshan - TTD Chairman













- COVID VACCINATION FOR ALL TTD EMPLOYEES IN 2 WEEKS

- ORGANIC PRODUCTS FOR SRIVARI NAIVEDYAM ON EXPERIMENTAL BASIS

 

Tirumala, 30 April 2021: TTD chairman Sri YV Subba Reddy reiterated on Friday that Covid guidelines were mandatory to all devotees coming for Srivari Darshan.

 

Reviewing all arrangements in view of Covid spike at the Annamaiah Bhavan with officials, TTD Chairman appealed to devotees with cold, cough and fever to postpone their Tirumala pilgrimage. The TTD had provided an option to utilise their online bookings till the end of 2021, he assured.

 

Speaking to media persons later he said TTD had released daily only 15,000 online Rs.300 special Darshan tickets for the month of May, but the bookings had shown a downswing.

 

VACCINATION TO ALL TTD EMPLOYEES IN 2 WEEKS

 

The TTD chairman directed officials to make arrangements for Covid vaccination of all TTD employees working both at Tirumala and Tirupati in 

In the coming 15 days. 

 

He also TTD would provide all succour to families of 15 employees who had died due to Covid and expressed his condolences to bereaved families.

 

He also directed officials to organise payments of Covid treatment of TTD employees in private hospitals .

 

He said presently TTD is facilitating employees of Tirumala to attend office on a 50:50 ratio and same formula would be followed in attendance for employees of Tirupati as well.

 

He said officials have been directed to organise special buses to ferry TTD employees to Tirumala and also special beds with oxygen and ventilator at BIRRD hospital for employees.

 

USE OF ORGANIC PRODUCTS FOR SRIVARI NAIVEDYAM

 

The Chairman said as done by ancestors in the past, from May 1, Saturday, on experimental basis TTD is using organic farm products for preparing Srivari naivedyam, in cooperation with Sri Vijayram, a farmer from Pinagudurulanka village of Krishna district.

 

He said action plan is being chalked out to use organic farm products in preparation of Srivari laddu and vada Prasadam in the second phase and thereafter in the Anna Prasadam of devotees at Sri Tarigonda Vengamamba Anna Prasadam Bhavan in the third phase.

 

TTD has plans to make farmers of Telugu states as partners in the divine venture by giving them special training in growing organic products without use of pesticides and fertilisers. TTD also mulls to take up organic farming in the agricultural lands donated by devotees.

 

INSPECTION OF DEVOTEES QUEQUE LINES ON COVID GUIDELINES

 

After the review session at Annamaiah Bhavan the TTD Chairman inspected then Covid guidelines arrangements at special Darshan ticket entry complex in Vaikunta Queue Complex of Srivari Temple - soap liquid, hand sanitisers, scanning point, ozone sanitizers at Mahadwaram and social distancing in the queue lines.

 

The TTD chairman made several suggestions to officials on streamlining of queue lines at Padi kavali onwards.

 

TTD Additional EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy, TTD board members Sri Sekhar Reddy, Sri Shivkumar, Sri Muralikrishna, and DyEO Sri Harindranath, Health officer Dr RR Reddy, SE-2 Sri Nageswara Rao and others were present.
