Pavitra Purnahuti Performed

The annual Pavitrotsavams concluded with Purnahuti in Sri Padmavathi Ammavari Temple at Tiruchanoor on Monday.

 

Speaking on the occasion, the TTD EO Dr KS Jawahar Reddy said, this annual is performed every year as a sin free festival seeking divine intervention to the commissions and omissions done either knowingly or unknowingly by the religious staff, general staff and even devotees. Hence this festival is also known as Dosha Parihara Utsavam", he maintained.

 

EO said, this festival was observed in adherence to Covid norms. For the sake of devotees, the tickets were released in online and devotees took part in the festival via a virtual platform, he added.

 

JEO Smt Sada Bhargavi, Agama Advisor Sri Srinivasacharyulu, Temple DyEO Smt Kasturi Bai and other temple staff were also present.
