Mini Kalyana Katta Opened at Appalayagunta

A mini Kalayana Katta-tonsuring facility is opened at Sri Prasanna Venkateswara Swamy temple at Appalayagunta on Thursday for the sake of devotees.

 

The officials of the temple opened the Kalayana Katta after offering pujas. This mini Kalyana Katta is located adjacent to Kalyana Mandapam. The devotees shall offer their hair as a part of fulfilment of their wish akin to Tirumala temple. TTD has also constructed toilets and bathrooms for the sake of devotees who tonsure their heads.

 

Temple AEO Sri Prabhakar Reddy, Temple Inspector Sri Srinivasulu, temple archakas were also present.
