Vedic Students are Harbingers of Vedic Culture - Honourable Governor

The Vedic students who passed out with degrees are harbingers of Vedic culture, advocated, HE the










Honourable Governor of Andhra Pradesh Sri Biswa Bhusan Harichandan.

 

In the capacity of the Chancellor of SV Vedic University, addressing through a virtual platform on the occasion of the Sixth Convocation of the varsity, he said, India has taught the world Vedic sciences, Vedic arithmetic, Vedic commerce, Vedic economics some thousands of years ago itself.  "By virtue of this great cultural heritage, India has preached to the world the concept of equality and international brotherhood", he maintained.

 

Complimenting the efforts of the Vice-Chancellor and his team of SVVU for strengthening the Vedic texts, the Governor called upon the pass outs to strive hard to keep alive the Vedic knowledge to reach out to the common man.

 

Sri Ganeshan Srouthi who was conferred with Mahamahopadhyaya (Honoris Causa), in his address as Chief Guest said, if everyone follows the righteous way of life as taught by Vedas, then there will be absolved of all issues.

 

Earlier, the Vice-Chancellor Sri Sannidhanam Sudarshana Sharma read out the annual report. Later the Vedic students were also awarded with degree certificates.

 

TTD EO Dr KS Jawahar Reddy, Registrar Dr K Tarakarama Kumara Sarma, Deans Sri Subramanya Sarma, Sri Srinivasacharyulu, faculty, students were also present.
