Maha Samprokshanam Held

Astabandhana Balalaya Maha Samprokshanam was held in Sri Varaha Swamy temple at Tirumala on Monday.

 

The related religious events were observed in this ancient temple from November 25 to 29 as per Agama.

 

To perform gold Malam for the Vimana Gopuram of the temple, Balalaym was held from December 6 to 10 during last year. Since then all the daily rituals are being performed to the replica of Mulavirat. As the gold malam works have now been completed, Astabandhana Balalaya Maha Samprokshanam was performed along with Jeernodharana rituals.

 

On Monday, after Purnahuti, Prabandha Sattumora, Veda Sattumora, Astabandhana Maha Samprokshanam was performed between 9.15am and 9.30am in the Dhanur Lagnam. 

 

Meanwhile in the evening, between 7pm and 8.30pm there will be a procession of Sri Venkateswara Swamy (present in Sri Varaha Swamy temple).

 

Additional EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy, Deputy EO Sri Ramesh Babu and others were also present.
