Vijayadasa Aradhana Commences

TIRUMALA, 13 NOVEMBER 2021: The two day Aradhana Mahotsavams of Sri Vijayadasa commenced at Asthana Mandapam in Tirumala on Saturday.

 

Dasa Sahitya Project Special Officer Sri Anandatheerthacharyulu speaking on the occasion said Vijayadasa penned 25000 keertans.

 

He said actually he was called Madhyapati, the youngest son of Sri Purandharadasa during his previous birth.

 

The Kannada Sangeeta Pitamaha has written 4.75lakh Sankeertans as against his aim of five lakhs. He has handed over the responsibility of completing the remaining 25000 Sankeertans to his youngest son Madhyapati

 

After 250 years, Madhyapati was reborn as Vijayadasa and completed his father's divine mission, he said.

 

HDPP Project Officer Sri Vijayasaradhi, HDPP Secretary Sri KS Rama Rao were also present.
